Darren:
Having worked closely for over 10 years with families who struggle with unmanageable debt, I’ve seen the effect debt and poverty can have on poor mental health and the links between them all. I’m passionate about facilitating conversations around these and other tricky, rarely discussed subjects covered in the Kintsugi sessions. I love the practical approach of the course and the tools and techniques that we pick up and learn along the way.
Esther:
I’ve worked as a nurse for 30 years and have seen first hand the impact of poor mental health and what can contribute towards this. My current role supports those who are dealing with trauma. I’m interested in how faith can support our wellbeing.
John:
Over the years, through personal experience I have come to believe that mental and emotional health are as important as physical health, or possibly even more important.
Having an opportunity to understand more about mental and emotional health and how to improve them is a great way to be able to lead a richer and fuller life. This is something that Kintsugi Hope offers.
Liam:
Having faced challenges with my Mental Health, both within my personal and professional lives, I initially felt lost and alone in my struggles.
I have found, having attended Kintsugi Hope myself, that having the opportunity to discuss elements of wellbeing with others can lift a great load off as it offers tools to explore using and helped make me no longer feel alone, lost or afraid to speak up.
It is so important to talk whenever we struggle with emotions, thoughts and feelings.
